Wonka

On Wednesday 6th March, we hosted our first community event for our Year 6 Families. In honour of World Book Day we invited all our upcoming families in to watch the new Wonka film in our Academy Theatre. On arrival, students were presented with a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Bookmark hand-painted by one of our talented Year 11 Art Students. Each student and their family were given a chocolate bar in celebration of the chocolate-inspired movie and then Dr Neal and Ms Gordon gave a welcome speech where they handed out 10 signed copies of the Roald Dahl classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, signed by Dr Neal. 

This was a truly magical evening, and we are so looking forward to hosting our next event!
